Well, I don’t know, I seem to be very unhappy lately. Just a lot of sadness just keeps creeping in. I don’t know why.
You’re grieving. You’re doing what I’m doing. I mean, I can sit here and talk as though everything’s fine, but you see me in the morning for about two hours and I’m a bloody wreck. And then you see me in the evening and some nights I just cry all night. It’s important not to judge it. You’re not, and I’m not saying you’re grieving that this is all about Tony. It’s not. You’re grieving your life. You’re finally expressing all the things that you never allowed yourself to express. They’re coming up and you need to let them go.
It’s not because you’re unhappy. It’s because you’ve got energy there that’s getting in the way of your joy. And you need to wash it out. And crying’s the easiest way to wash it out.
How can I resolve it?
You can’t. I start talking to somebody and in the middle of a conversation, a perfect stranger, I’ll start crying. And it’s like, oh my God. I said to Orla the other day, I’m tired and I’m sad. And I’m tired of being sad. That doesn’t mean that I’m tired of grieving for Tony. I just, all I seem to do is cry. You know?
We need to allow ourselves to release. You’re at a stage where you, because you’re ahead of the group where this is concerned, you’re hitting the release stage first. And the release stage says, clear the clutter, any bits and pieces of old energy, emotion inside of you that’s not been happy, that’s not being creative, let it out. Let it go. If that means you sit for an hour and cry, you sit for an hour and cry.
And I have to say, I meant to phone you with everything that’s been going on. It hasn’t happened. That little gift you sent me is very soggy.
Very?
Soggy.
Is it?
It is. Yes. Because I hold it and cry. And I don’t know how long it’s going to take me to stop crying. And to be honest, it can take as long as it takes. It’s part of letting go of the stuff that we don’t need. It’s like shedding excess weight. It is weight, but it’s energy weight.
Yeah.
I think it’s a gift to be able to cry. Yeah. I think when you don’t cry is when you really, if you don’t let it out, that’s when you really get messed up.
When my dad died, I didn’t cry. I couldn’t cry. I was in shock. Plus, I was just about to deliver a baby. And I couldn’t cry. My sister-in-law said to me, everybody looking at us is going to think that he’s my dad, not yours, because I’m crying and you’re not. And I said they can think what they like. I cried later.
It’s not weakness and it’s not… It’s not that we’re unhappy. It’s that we’re releasing things that have made us unhappy in the past.
Yeah.
We’ve swallowed for a reason, one reason or another.
There’s so much of it.
Yeah, but you’re a tuning fork for the world because that’s what’s going on out in the world. People feel helpless and hopeless and they don’t know which way to turn. They don’t know what to do. because the people that should be leading us and setting a good example and setting the parameters for us so we know where we’re going and what we’re doing, I think they’ve all lost the plot. I think they’ve all gone bloody delusional. I’ve never seen such ridiculous politicians, and I’m talking global, not just Australia, in my life. There’s not one statesman with vision. They’ve all got their bandwagon, but they’re not looking at the… you know, the highest good of everybody. They’re looking at this piece that they want.
And our job is to see the bigger picture.
You’re crying because it’s energy that you’re releasing. You know, I can’t settle to do anything for very long. If I get two hours work done in a day, I think I’ve done well. And for me, to only do two hours work in one day – that’s a bloody shock. It’s like… I’m not even part-time, you know? But I can’t keep the attention span beyond that.
Just can’t sort of concentrate on any one thing.
Exactly. So don’t. If you do something, if you start to do something and then you get to the point where you’re not interested, put it down and go somewhere else. Just say, okay, I’ve done enough of that. Time for the next thing. Just allow it. Just allow it.
It will pass, will it?
It will. Well, I’m hoping so, because if not, you and I are going to be having major talks with upstairs. All right?
Yeah. It will.
By hook or by crook. I’m going to kick it.
Yeah, too bloody right.
But don’t kick yourself, because there’s nothing wrong with you.
