I think in this day and age communication is a major topic of interest and a major area where there’s communication breakdown, where misunderstandings are very easy.

Let me talk first about what I meant when I said how to communicate our message. Although I’m talking from a spiritual perspective, because for me everything is spiritual. It’s not just in areas where we work spiritually. The problems we find facing us in our world mostly stem from miscommunication or no communication. We assume other people know what we’re thinking, what we’re meaning. We assume that people understand who we are and so we don’t need to go into any great detail and that’s a strong assumption that often leads us astray.

We all have a message, we may not be aware of it, we may not be clear that we have a message but we all have a message. When I talk about people’s message I talk about what is it at the core of them that if they never say anything else to other people they want people to remember them for.
So what I’m saying here is what is it that at the heart of you is the most important for you that you stand for and that people understand. If we’re not clear within ourselves, how can we expect other people to understand what we have to say?

So before we can actually be communicating our message, we really need to know what our message is. What is it at our heart that’s the most important thing for us to feel that we’ve communicated with those around us.
